i fell upon this mumbai\english artist's work on my recent trip to the guggenheim museum in bilbao, spain. his work is extraordinary. his recent experimentations with wax and machinery have led to some amazing pieces which i was lucky enough to see in his recent exhibition. they feel in a sense quite horrific, due to the use of the blood red colour of the wax, though i really like the pieces. they feel like they grow and develop over a time period. each viewer will see the artform in a different form of transformation, which i think is a uniquely interesting experience found in his work. some of his mirror artwork is on exhibition in kensington gardens in hyde park-i hope to go look at them soon before the weather forces me further indoors and further under my blanket!
