OH HARRY..so i received a last minute ticket to see cat empire on saturday night with some friends at the O2 academy in brixton (myfirst london gig!). ive always enjoyed they're funky melbournesque jazz/ska/funk fuse, and now i love them even more. we were front row (my friend A is a diehard fan-her 29th cat empire show that night..) and the boys had so much energy on stage, plus i adore harry and felix even more now-the whole group are just so well tuned to eachother, it seems like they're just chilling on stage having a crazy casual jam-yet they sound so amazing!
afterwards we went to a trendy brixton bar called THE REST IS NOISE. love love loved the bar, but it was a long way from home so sadly wont be returning there anytime soon. amazing night!
